Visit with Us! Dan Snyder
Cherry Street Worship Leader The Cherry Street Worship Community
is a diverse crowd that tends to share a few common characteristics:
  • We believe that the right questions are just as important as the right answers.
  • We believe that God made us to need one another
  • We believe that only an honest understanding of Jesus in our own language will grow our faith.
From the leadership on down you’ll find real people who believe in a real God and are struggling to practice life with Him and each other. If this sounds like where you need to be in your journey of faith the Cherry Street Worship Community may very well be the next group of people with whom you “do faith”.

Thank You! Welcoming Refugees in Lancaster
The Ghimire Family

There's a way for you to help!
Ways to HelpWe would like to compile of list of people who are available to occasionally provide transportation for the Ghimire family (our friends newly from Nepal) to take them to the grocery store or doctor's office. Also, they really enjoy meeting new people and getting out of their own home for a change. You could have them over for games, some American past time, a chat around the fireplace or a meal/dessert. It doesn't have to be anything grandiose or a long period of time, just a chance for
something different for them. To help with either need, please email
Beverley_Harrar@wycliffe.org
or call 464-4934.

Words of Jesus

November 1, 2008
This year we are studying the Words of Jesus. We believe words have the power to transform us and our world. Join us this October in reading the words of Jesus as found in the book of Matthew. Obtain a Bible that is easy to understand and you feel comfortable marking up (highlighting, underlining, and writing notes in the margins). Start with chapter one, read a chapter a day, five a week. As you read, ask the Holy Spirit to open your mind and heart to the meaning of these words and how they are to guide and shape your life.
Let the transformissional process begin!

Smaller Groups

We believe we grow spiritually when our lives are engaged in individual time with God, worship gatherings, and intentional face to face groups. If you would like to be in a group or host a group with others, please contact Don Hackett:

Will meet the first
and third Monday evenings of the month. Starting October 20 at the Parish Resource Center, from 7:15-8:45PM, the group will study the book “Next Door Savior” by Max Lucado. Through unforgettable stories and powerful truths, the author draws us to a Savior who is as approachable as a next-door neighbor, yet holy enough to save humanity.
