CHRISTMAS
EVE WORSHIP
CSW … what we’re about … Come as you are. We believe God cares more about the state of our hearts than externals and many of us know firsthand what it's like to walk into a new kind of church in a different kind of setting. On any given Sunday inside the walls of Esbenshade Hall, you'll find a growing number of truth seekers, people from all different walks of life: housewives, CFOs, software engineers, musicians, business owners... all spiritually seeking people, from unconvinced and skeptical, new believers, to lifelong Christians.
CSW … Music Ministry Expect great music in a style that is indigenous to our culture (meaning modern!). Expect creative video, drama, and other arts, woven together by the common thread of our experience with God and his character. Grab a cup of fresh coffee from the back table and slip into your seat, knowing you won't be asked to do anything other than have an open mind. Expect to hear messages that are relevant for your life.
CSW … kool stuff for kids! Janet Ressler and her team of caregivers and teachers provide a fun, safe and spiritually enriching environment for our CSW kids. Every Sunday the children hear a message especially tailored for them with an opportunity to participate through singing, questions and answers and small skits. After the message, children are excused to participate in Sunday school. CSW… Small Groups Have you ever had an authentic relationship with someone you just see in passing for a few minutes- once a week? We realize that forming closer relationships with the neighbors and new faces on Sunday morning is a challenge! That's why Small Groups are so important to CSW. And we make it easy by offering a variety of groups. In next month’s CSW newsletter, we’ll list some of the ongoing small groups. Small Groups, like nothing else, provide a place to build authentic relationships in a personal, comfortable environment…right in someone's home! Here, we hang out, catch up, and join in dynamic discussions about spiritual truth & growth…with people just like ourselves. Our goal is to build a community where nobody stands alone.
What's happening on Thursday Nights at FPC? Activities for the
whole family (neighbors & friends welcome too!). The evening
begins with a family meal in Esbenshade Hall at 6:00 p.m., followed by
Worship/Prayer. And then:
Alpha
Child care is available all
evening. Join us – we think you'll be surprised
what you'll find!
