At First Presbyterian, we value families and we are committed to helping to spiritually nurture and encourage all our families.

Families come in all shapes and sizes. A mom, a dad and two kids is a family. But so is a mom and a son. Or grandparents and grandchildren they are raising. Or two sisters living together. Or an adult caring for an elderly parent. Wherever people are committed to one another, be it as blood relatives or in a covenant commitment to share the joys and concerns of life, there is family.

We want you to know that your family is welcome at First Presbyterian.

For families with children, please know that your kids are very welcome to participate in the life of our church. For specific information on our Children's Ministry program, click here. For specific information on our Youth Ministry program, click here.

Children are welcome in our worship services and welcome to all of our church events and programs. Professional child care is usually provided for all events. Please call the church office (394-6854) if you have questions regarding child care for a specific program.

Homebound members of First Presbyterian are cared for by our Deacons and our Pastoral Care Associate. Twice a year, the pastoral staff, accompanied by a Deacon or Elder visits homebound members to serve communion and to share in prayer with them.

An Alzheimers/Dementia Support Group provides opportunity for those with this unique caregiving role an opportunity to share with one another and find strength from their faith and from knowing they are not alone.

Life in a family is a blessing and a challenge. No matter where you are in your family's life, you will find encouragement and support here at First Presbyterian.
